GO INTERGALACTICO!!!

YEAH! Funny garbage legend Chris Capuozzo has finally kicked his own website into the wide world and boy has it been worth the wait...super good stuff...

Bristol last weekend...

So last weekend i went up to Bristol with Dreambagsjaguarshoes and Crystal Vision to take part in a zine fair at Spike Island studios and then play some records at the after party...It was an awesome awesome time and i met loads of great people - so a big big BIG hello to everyone i met...but for those that couldn't make it here are some snap shots...
PS BIG well done to James Pearson Howes for stepping up his art game and killing Bristol with his installation in Rhys Corens gallery...

The most lethal drink 'KERMITS FINGER'..vodka and absinthe...fuck yeah!

This 'lady' was 'feeling' the bass...if you know what i mean...

Waiting to pick up our zines from Rhys Corens space

The Arnolfini on a saturday night

The Crystal Vision (minus two)

Sunday morning blues...

Check out the dude on the right. He's standing on the window ledge...then in a moments time he slips, falls, bangs his head on the speaker stacks and...

...OUT FOR THE COUNT...

This guy is a legend...his boat is called PLAYBOUY and he was circling the docks on saturday night, blasting out rock and driving his speedboat whilst air punching

Our table...London Reppin' - Me, Jagbags, Crystal Vision and James Pearson Howes...

ZINE ROUNDUP

Face/off
Crystal Vision bring me what is one of my favorite zines EVER...what is it? its a zine filled with just images of Steven Segal and Pierce Brosnan. Why? Because its amazing. As said, one of my favorite zines ever

Axl
WOW! This is incredibly awesome. In 2005, Daryl Waller set up an email account for Axl Rose, and then went on some fan forums for Guns & Roses, and pretended he was Axl...this is a collection of his emails that he received...amazing concept and one of the best reads in such a long time!!! try www.winterdrawings.com to get a copy

Crafthunter aka Rory Gleeson
One of the Crystal Vision crew, here are two zines that showcase some of the heat this guy brings...from fantastical pysch space explorations via collages, drawings and patterns to recollections of his childhood, everything printed is amazing, no filler or shit....so good! My favorite is the word for word printing of his sisters letter to their mum apologising for something - including the spelling mistakes. Try iamrorygleeson@gmail.com for a copy

Rum & Coke
A zine from one of Bristols most hardcore party animals (see the bristol post soon - he's the guy with all the stickers)...well when hes not pissed or fucked, he's producing awesome zines recounting the madness...kinda like hearts of darkness on paper...awesome. try jordantuansviney@hotmail.co.uk if you want one

Rhys & Chris 'Can i have my ball back?'
A beautifully printed zine themed around football flashbacks and incidents. Im not a huge football fan, but this had me laughing non-stop, and is well worth copping for a smile...try rhysmcfleece@hotmail.co.uk

Stephen Eichorn
Released for the the solo exhibition 'house plants' at Cairo gallery in Seattle, this zine shows Stephens contining exploration of house plants via collages, drawings and shape breakdown...really beatiful stuff, and it made me re-evaluate and fall in love with what I believed to be mundane...thanks Stephen!

Brad Downey

Its been a long time coming, but one of street arts (and the artworld in general) best modern installation artists (in my humble opinion) is Brad Downey, and he has finally uploaded his first website dedicated to his work...go, check it out and be awed...
